Groningen is considered by many to be the cycling capital of the world. Two-thirds of all trips here are made by bike! Therefore, the first advice most people will give you when you arrive in Groningen, is to get a bike. But since you’re not as experienced as the Dutch in riding it, you might have some stressful first weeks trying to maneuver your bike through the busy streets of Groningen’s center.
